Make your own delicious yogurt ice cream recipe and frozen yogurt quickly and easily with simple ingredients and an ice cream maker at home.
Our popular yogurt ice cream recipe with little sugar and a wonderfully refreshing yogurt taste. It always comes together very quickly and can be refined with lots of toppings or supplemented with fruit. The perfect basic ice cream recipe for creamy yogurt ice cream.

  • 1 Ice cream maker
  • 1 hand blender

Ingredients
 
 

  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 400 g yogurt natural (10%)
  • 10 g lemon juice
  • 35 g powdered sugar
  • 5 g glucose alternatively 5g more powdered sugar

Recipe-Instruction
 

  • First put whipped cream, yogurt and juice of a freshly squeezed lemon in a tall mixing bowl and mix well with a hand blender.
    200 g (7.0 oz) whipped cream
    400 g (1.5 cups) yogurt natural (10%)
    10 g (2.0 tsp) lemon
  • Then slowly add the powdered sugar and mix.
    35 g (5 tbsp) powdered sugar
  • If you want the ice cream to be a little creamier, you can add glucose powder (dextrose). If you don't have any dextrose powder at home, you can also add 5g of powdered sugar.
    5 g (1 tsp) glucose
  • Now mix the yogurt-cream mixture well for about 2-3 minutes until a consistent mixture has formed and there are already slight air bubbles from the hand blender.
  • Then pour this mixture into the ice cream maker and chill and mix according to the ice cream maker's instructions.
  • Depending on the ice cream maker, the cooling time and production time of the delicious and simple yogurt ice cream takes around 10-20 minutes.
  • Pour the finished ice cream into beautiful bowls, decorate with fresh fruit, sauces or Smarties and crumbles and enjoy.

Notes

Tip: The ice cream can easily be stored in the freezer for several days afterwards.
Please note: If you want to eat the ice cream again afterwards, it will take a little longer to defrost (compared to ice cream from the supermarket), but it will taste all the better for it.
